BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Manager for Private Client Services in San Francisco. The role focuses on tax compliance and consulting for high net-worth individuals, families, and executives, with emphasis on estate, gift, trust, and related planning.

You will collaborate with clients and advisors, supervise staff, and contribute to business development, training, and firm initiatives while delivering high-touch client service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication, time management and leadership abilities.
• Technical tax knowledge with ability to research complex issues.
• Experience supporting high net-worth clients in estate, gift, and trust tax planning.

Responsabilités

• Manages tax engagements and client relationships for PCS clients.
• Gathers client information and coordinates with advisors to prepare tax returns.
• Reviews returns for individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corps, foundations, partnerships, and gifts.
• Directs communication with government agencies on complex matters.
• Performs advanced tax research and develops recommendations for PCS leadership.
• Expands tax knowledge through client engagements and current tax developments.
• Prioritizes tasks and collaborates with the team; participates in billing and CPE activities.
• Builds and maintains relationships with BDO professionals and external sources.
