Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
8+ years of tax compliance, specialization in complex technical individual and business.
Recent Public Accounting experience.
CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team, foster strong client relationships, prospect and contribute to a sustainable business.
Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, especially in financial services.
Demonstrate knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment and trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
Directly engage with clients to deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions.
Lead primary review of complex tax returns and maintain client communication.
Cultivate relationships with clients, staff, and external vendors.
Provide training and supervision to staff and review work.
