Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local taxation.

• Strong tax research and technical analysis skills.
• Ability to identify tax risks and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent client service and relationship management skills.

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Tax Seniors, Semi-Seniors, Associates, and staff accountants
• Manage tax engagements to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Monitor engagement budgets, deadlines, and overall workflow
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax information and technical issues
• Research complex tax matters and develop well-supported conclusions
• Identify tax and risk management issues and recommend potential solutions
• Review tax work and provide technical guidance to team members
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the year
• Participate in internal meetings, training programs, and technical development initiatives
• Stay current on tax law, regulatory developments, and industry trends
• Attend industry events and participate in professional networking activities
• Contribute to process improvements and broader tax practice initiatives
