Madison-Davis, LLC is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join its Asset Management Tax practice in New York. You will focus on partnership taxation for investment funds, review Form 1065 returns and K-1 reporting, and provide tax planning for funds and management companies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public accounting tax with asset management fund experience, strong client communication, and the ability to mentor junior staff. CPA/MST preferred.

Formación

• Public accounting tax experience with focus on partnerships.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting partnership allocations and waterfalls.
• Asset management/fund experience required.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills; mentoring staff.

Responsabilidades

• Review and prepare partnership tax returns (Form 1065) and K-1 reporting.
• Serve asset management clients including private equity/hedge funds and investment partnerships.
• Interpret partnership agreements and allocations.
• Support tax planning, structuring, and compliance for funds and management companies.
• Research partnership tax issues and provide practical recommendations.
• Manage client relationships and provide mentorship to staff.
• Coordinate engagements to ensure timely deliverables.
• Stay current on partnership tax developments affecting investment funds.
