Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with tax focus.
• CPA or JD required; Master’s in taxation preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and projects.
• Proficiency with tax software and research tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to be a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on federal and state returns for various entities.
• Manage existing and develop new client relationships.
• Oversee tax planning strategies and run projections.
• Prepare internal memos and tax guidance; liaise with IRS/state authorities.
• Collaborate with advisory team on tax planning functions.
• Manage workflow, budgets and billings.
• Improve tax department processes and efficiency.
