Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Tax Manager in Hawthorne, CA to lead domestic and international tax operations, tax planning, compliance, and audits. The role covers ASC 740, multi-state taxes, sales/use tax, and tax provision preparation.

The candidate will collaborate with the Director of Tax, manage external advisors, and communicate tax impacts across the business. On-site, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or business required.
• 6+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting with ASC 740 experience.
• CPA certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax information to external advisors for federal and multi-state returns.
• Prepare annual tax provision and related ASC 740 memoranda.
• Oversee multi-state income, sales and use, property taxes, and business licenses.
• Coordinate with outside auditors and tax service providers on tax matters.
