Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Berkeley Heights, NJ seeks a Senior Tax Manager to join the global tax team. You will lead U.S.

federal/state filings, manage tax provisions, and support audits while coordinating with Finance, Operations, and Business teams. You’ll leverage ASC 740 expertise, tax research capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize tax positions and ensure compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting required; CPA or MST preferred.
• 8+ years of tax experience in multinational corporate environment or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and US tax compliance.
• Experience working with diverse, global teams; strong communication skills.
• Proficient Excel; familiarity with OneSource and SAP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including credits and incentives; analyze taxable income and state allocation.
• Manage extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments for income and franchise taxes.
• Conduct tax technical research to stay current with evolving tax laws and ensure compliance.
• Support federal and state tax audits by coordinating data collection and preparing workpapers.
• Prepare and analyze two cycles of the tax provision (interim and annual).
• Assist with inquiries from external auditors during financial audits.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Business teams on tax planning and compliance.
• Analyze financial and tax data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Stay informed on developments, regulatory updates, and best practices in U.S. tax.
• Utilize tax technology to improve efficiency and automate processes.
• Contribute to special projects and strategic tax initiatives.
