Qualifications

• Active CPA license in state of residence or equivalent
• EA license or Attorney license or approved alternative certification
• 8+ years public accounting experience with C Corp clients or equivalent
• Experience preparing or reviewing ASC 740
• Strong multi-project, multi-engagement management skills
• Ability to generate new business and expand services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Career Advisor, mentor or coach to one or more employees with regular performance feedback (~10–20%).
• Drive growth and profitability by expanding revenue in existing portfolios and cross-selling to new clients (~30–40%).
• Interact with clients on questions, planning and consulting (~20–40%).
• Train and develop staff members and teams.
• Lead complex engagements with high-value tax advice and expand services to clients.
• Coordinate Tax client service and execute firm client service plan.
• Review research findings for consistency with firm policies and standards.
• Build cross-line relationships to ensure exceptional client service.
• Manage corporate client tax needs and ASC 740 compliance.
• Stay up to date on tax law changes and trends.
• Travel as required.
