Job summary

Talent With Heart in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements and guide a growing team. You will deliver comprehensive tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse client base, spanning businesses and individuals.

You will act as a strategic advisor, foster client relationships with executives and owners, oversee engagements, and drive growth through proactive service and business development, while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Experience managing complex tax engagements and advising clients.
• Proven business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a varied client portfolio.
• Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Advise clients by understanding business objectives and offering tailored solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with client executives and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple engagements with planning, staffing, budgeting, timelines, and profitability.
• Drive firm growth through proactive client service and guidance.
• Support business development through networking and proposals.
• Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff Accountants.
• Stay current on tax law changes and industry developments.
• Align work with the firm's strategic objectives and client service standards.

Education

CPA license

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting (preferred)
