MDS Staffing in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax engagements and develop the team. The role focuses on delivering tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse client base, while strengthening client relationships and driving profitability.

Ideal candidates hold an active CPA license, a Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's preferred), and have 8+ years of public accounting tax experience, with proven business development and leadership abilities.

Formación

• Active CPA license required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting environment.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership and staff development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a varied client portfolio.
• Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local income tax returns and workpapers.
• Act as a strategic advisor, understanding client objectives and offering tailored solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with client executives and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple client engagements with focus on planning, staffing, budgeting, timelines, and profitability.
• Drive firm growth through proactive client service and strategic guidance.
• Contribute to business development via networking and identifying opportunities.
• Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff Accountants.
