Job summary

capstone group is seeking an experienced CPA to join our Vail, CO office. You will assist business owners and individuals in maintaining and improving financial health and reporting procedures, meeting with clients to discuss needs and reviewing tax forms for accuracy.

Responsibilities include detailing tax reviews, developing strategies for diverse clients, meeting clients, and fostering client relationships to expand business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 7+ years tax experience required.
• Strong client-service orientation, with ability to work directly with clients and staff.
• Highly motivated and dedicated professional.
• Confident, flexible and personable with diverse people.
• Experience in public accounting and preparing/reviewing tax returns is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of federal and state tax laws to deliver favorable outcomes for clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns; develop tax strategies for business, fiduciary, and individual clients.
• Meet with new and existing clients regularly to assess needs.
• Leverage interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships and grow the business.
