Job summary

Pivotal Finance is seeking a Tax Manager to prepare and review business and personal tax returns, conduct tax research, and assist with planning. You will supervise staff accountants and report to the Tax Director, collaborating with partners and clients to deliver high‑quality tax services.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong experience across partnerships, S‑corps, C‑corps, and individuals, and a track record of delivering excellent client experiences.

Qualifications

• CPA license is required and active.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Review client-provided financials and adjust for tax reporting.
• Lead complex tax projects for various entity types (individual, partnership, S‑corporation, C‑corporation).
• Review tax return workpapers and adjustments; ensure regulatory compliance.
