Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an experienced tax professional to join our Tax team in Asheville, NC. You will manage compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, conducting in-depth research and delivering clear reports.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting.
• CPA license is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsabilités

• Manage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings clearly in reports.
• Review tax return preparations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Drive client service excellence and foster long-term relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Support business development and client growth through proposals and acquisitions.
• Mentor and manage tax professionals, providing coaching and career development.
• Oversee resources, budgets, and project workflows to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain technical expertise through ongoing CPA-CE education.
