Blue & Co., LLC in Lexington, KY seeks a Senior Tax Associate to lead tax engagements and build client relationships. You will advance supervisory and management skills while receiving ongoing training and mentoring in a dynamic firm environment.

The ideal candidate has CPA certification or is pursuing it, 3-6 years of tax experience in public accounting, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Occasional travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• CPA Certification or eligible and actively pursuing certification.
• 3-6 years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Proven financial, analytical, technical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent client service and the desire to build business development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage engagements, prioritize engagements and supervise/motivate staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to client locations, mostly day trips; minimal overnight travel is required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule and manage all aspects of tax engagements.
• Prepare business and individual tax returns.
• Perform field work to include the preparation of complex work papers along with monitoring the work paper preparation of Staff Accountants.
• Foster teamwork, innovative thinking, and knowledge sharing with team members to enhance service delivery.
• Training and mentoring Staff Accountants.
• Continually learn and become a subject matter expert in your area(s) of interest.
