Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex business and individual tax engagements.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and serve as a trusted business advisor.
• Strong business development experience, including identifying opportunities and cultivating relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high‑quality tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients.
• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns and related workpapers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business objectives and recommending Blue & Co. services.
• Build and maintain relationships with client executives and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple client engagements, including planning, staffing, budgets, timelines, and profitability.
• Support practice growth through business development, relationship-building, and proposal support.
