Job summary

Withum’s Innovation team seeks a Senior Product Analyst to bridge our Tax practice with product development, translating tax processes into actionable requirements and delivered capabilities.

You will collaborate with tax professionals to document workflows and lead delivery for tax-focused products such as client intake, workpaper automation, and review workflows. The role emphasizes agile delivery, test scripting, and tool adoption across Microsoft 365, supporting efficiency and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Technology, IT, or MIS.
• 6+ years' experience in tax practice or Tax Products (compliance, provision, or advisory).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Familiarity with tax technology platforms and document automation tools.
• Experience running UAT, writing test scripts, and managing defect triage.
• Agile and product management certifications; experience with Azure DevOps and User Story creation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface between the Innovation team and the Tax practice translating tax process pain points into product requirements.
• Document current-state workflows with subject matter experts and identify opportunities.
• Lead requirements definition and delivery for tax-focused products (client intake, workpaper automation, document extraction, review workflows).
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria (with Product Owner and Innovation team).
• Build and execute test scripts; coordinate UAT testing and triage defects.
• Support execution of product delivery and measure ROI and adoption.
