PayPal is seeking an experienced Tax Counsel - Information Reporting to ensure global information reporting and withholding tax policy compliance across products and processes. The role involves evaluating new and existing products for information reporting applicability and creating new policies as needed.

Competenze

• 5+ years of relevant tax experience with a JD or foreign equivalent.
• Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Ability to independently manage significant tax matters.

• Independently advises on complex tax issues affecting business operations and initiatives.
• Develops technical tax analyses to support planning, reporting, audit defense and regulatory compliance.
• Partners with business units and Finance leadership to structure initiatives tax-efficiently.
• Identifies tax risk exposures and recommends mitigations aligned with PayPal’s risk tolerance.
• Coordinates with outside advisors and manages external engagements.
• Mentors junior attorneys or legal professionals and supports knowledge development within tax.
