Thomson Reuters Corp. seeks a Senior Tax & Audit AI Engineer to turn real tax/audit challenges into reliable AI solutions.

You will blend tax expertise with AI tools to create automations, validate accuracy, and deliver deployable solutions for clients, engineers, and Thompson Reuters specialists. In this hybrid role across multiple US locations, you will design workflows, develop reusable prompts, and collaborate with domain experts to ensure compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of hands-on experience in public accounting, corporate tax or audit.
• Advanced Excel skills with working knowledge of SQL or Python.
• Experience applying AI to tax/audit work including prompt engineering and custom agents/assistants.
• Delivery of at least one automation or AI tool used by others with evaluation datasets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with firms and corporate tax departments to understand workflows and define outcomes.
• Design solutions with controls for accuracy, risk and professional standards.
• Build prompts, AI agent instructions, prototypes, and automations using AI coding tools.
• Own AI evaluation and accuracy validation with expert-validated data sets and testing.
• Support client demonstrations and early engagement discussions.
