The firm is restructuring, focusing on higher-level tax analysis and project leadership. Flat structure offers significant exposure and responsibility.
• Senior Tax Analyst: With a multi-strat global investment firm and family office founded by a hedge fund founder. Stable with excellent benefits, supporting the Controller in managing the tax team and operations. Bonuses increase with tenure.
• Tax Associate: With a large hedge fund's newly launched tax team, reporting to the US Head of Tax, working alongside the Global Head of Tax, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning.

Snapshot of What You'll Do:

• Analyze financial and tax data, prepare schedules and reports for various tax filings.
• Review K-1/K-3 packages before distribution.
• Collaborate with external advisors on federal, state, and international tax returns.
• Prepare tax estimates and payments.
• Review FBAR, FATCA, CRS filings.
• Assist with uploading K-1 packages.
• Develop and document internal tax policies.
• Respond to tax inquiries and notices from authorities and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA and MST preferred.
• 2-5 years of private equity partnership tax compliance experience, preferably from Big 4.
• Understanding of private equity funds and tax issues.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.
