Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Block Advisor to work in a local Orlando, FL office.

You will prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand their financial situations, and offer personalized recommendations that help clients save money. In this in-person role you will build lasting client relationships, provide support and audit relief when needed, and leverage industry-leading training and technology with a competitive hourly rate

Qualifications

• Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 5+ years of tax preparation/accounting experience
• Experience with complex individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients
• Continuing education required by IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
