H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an in-person year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to help clients navigate complex tax situations and build lasting relationships. You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and leverage training and technology to deliver trusted guidance.

The role emphasizes client interviews, advisory service, and collaboration within a supportive office environment, with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan based on impact.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing complex individual and business returns, including planning, audit support, and tax notice resolution.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Mansioni

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations, including individual and business returns.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications, then provide clear, personalized recommendations.
• Build year-round client relationships by offering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities and Block Advisors products and services.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed.
