Job summary

H&R Block in California is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships. Qualifications

• Must complete H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 5+ years in tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience with complex individual and business returns, including audit support.
• Client-facing, consultative, or advisory experience.
• Strong communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses.
