Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing firm in Portland, OR. You will manage tax and related assignments, supervise staff, and build client relationships with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in public accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, and CPA exam eligibility or CPA license is a plus. Hybrid work arrangements may be discussed with recruiters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA exam in progress or CPA license a plus.
• Ability to sit for CPA exam or has passed section of CPA; CPA license a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax projects for designated clients with minimal oversight by managers.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage increasing responsibilities.
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants and support staff.
• Develop client relationships through professionalism and service.
