FormFactor, Inc. is seeking a Senior Trade Classification Specialist in Seattle to lead accurate HTS/HTSUS classifications and ECCN determinations for imports and exports.

You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, and brokers to ensure compliant product data and documentation. The role requires strong data interpretation, tariff classification expertise, and hands-on ERP/GTM experience, with opportunities to influence tax and origin determinations across multiple

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 8+ years in tariff classification within a corporate trade compliance environment.
• Strong knowledge of HTSUS/GRIs and export controls (ECCN).
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and BOMs; ability to connect data to classifications.

Aufgaben

• Review product data to assign accurate HTS/HTSUS classifications and Schedule B codes.
• Determine and maintain ECCNs and export control jurisdiction.
• Classify products early in development to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
• Develop a standardized classification framework for consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to keep part data up-to-date and compliant.
• Document defendable classification rationales and internal precedents.
• Maintain product classification data in ERP/GTM systems.
• Assist with origin determinations under USMCA and FTAs.
• Support internal audits and CBP inquiries on classification.
