Job summary

The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability seeks an Associate Director, Talent Partner to develop and implement the studio’s employer engagement strategy, build and maintain employer relationships globally, and drive internship and job opportunities for students and alumni.

This role reports to the Founding Director and collaborates with alumni, Stanford staff and sector-focused student clubs. It emphasizes CRM/AI tools, events, and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Eight plus (8+) years of experience in relationship, program and event management.
• Proven track record building and scaling win‑win employer partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive initiatives and own programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and operations for programs or functions with significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges.
• Evaluate programs or functions, policies and procedures; identify issues and propose solutions.
• Review trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve goals.
• Represent the program within the department and university to external/internal stakeholders.
• Manage and contribute to outreach strategy including relationship development and communications.
• May develop and oversee budgets and monitor finances, forecasting and reporting.
• Oversee end‑to‑end operations for coaching service offerings and supervise staff.
