Job summary

Stanford University’s Doerr School of Sustainability is seeking an exceptional Associate Dean for Development. You will craft development strategy, guide a high-performing team, and build relationships with major donors to advance the school’s goals.

You will work with the Dean, the Office of Development, and institute leaders to secure funds, manage stewardship, and expand engagement across the Stanford community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and twelve years of relevant experience and management experience.
• Demonstrated fundraising experience, sensitivity, and diplomacy.
• Excellent judgment, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Dean on development strategy and fundraising policy.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to implement development plans.
• Oversee major gifts initiatives and manage donor relationships.
• Lead the SDSS development leadership team and allocate resources.
