Job summary

Sloan Valve Company, based in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Sr Talent Development Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve leadership and employee development programs. You will partner with HR, leaders, and stakeholders to identify development needs and translate them into effective solutions across the organization.

You will lead enterprise learning initiatives, support performance management and succession planning, and oversee Employee Business Groups while ensuring inclusivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, OD, or L&D.
• 5+ years in talent development or related field.
• Experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills across levels.
• Ability to apply adult learning and instructional design principles.
• Experience with performance management and talent processes.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate learning programs for leaders and employees.
• Partner with leaders and HR to identify learning and development needs.
• Lead leadership development initiatives, cohorts, and workshops.
• Create engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences.
• Own programs from concept through evaluation and improvement.
• Support enterprise talent initiatives and succession planning.
• Develop learning resources, guides, and job aids.
• Measure program effectiveness using data and feedback.
• Leverage LMS and learning tech to deliver and report on programs.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed.
• Support organizational change through learning and enablement.
