Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking a Leadership Development Lead to drive enterprise-wide leadership programs and coaching initiatives in Chicago. You will partner with Talent Enablement leaders and cross-functional teams to design scalable development experiences that align with business goals.

You will manage budgets, assess impact with metrics, and leverage learning tech to deliver high-quality leadership learning. Strong collaboration with executives and HR is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Adult Education or equivalent experience.
• Coaching certification or equivalent leadership advisory experience.
• 7+ years of experience in leadership development, leadership pipeline management, or a related field.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide leadership development initiatives from needs assessment through design, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Strong program and project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, timelines, and budgets.
• Experience designing leadership development programs and learning experiences across multiple levels.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders, gain alignment, and secure buy-in.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience developing, measuring, and reporting leadership development metrics to senior leadership.
• Experience partnering with HR teams and managing supplier relationships to deliver development goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preferred: International Coaching Federation certifications (ACC, PCC, MCC)

Responsibilities

• Strategy deployment to influence leadership development aligned with business goals.
• Budget management and resource allocation for leadership initiatives.
• Ownership of the leadership development portfolio, including programs, coaching, and mentoring.
• Manage learning technologies and platforms to support program delivery and scalability.
• Source and manage external vendors and partnerships for leadership initiatives.
• Facilitate leadership programs and maintain consistent participant experience.
• Establish metrics to evaluate effectiveness and prepare regular reports for HR leadership.
• Develop and execute communication strategies to promote leadership opportunities.
• Serve as SME in leadership development trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to identify high-potential talent.
