This role leads full life cycle recruiting for engineers and project managers and uses creative sourcing to fill exempt and nonexempt roles.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with hiring managers and HR partners, manages candidate activity in the ATS, ensures compliance with laws, and builds strong client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5 years corporate recruitment experience in professional exempt roles, including 3 years with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources.
• Knowledge of HR recruiting policies and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring manager and HRBP to determine staffing needs and deliver offers for exempt and nonexempt openings.
• Screen resumes, interview candidates (phone/in-person), assess and reference/background check as needed.
• Use traditional and nontraditional sourcing to attract candidates and build diverse candidate slates.
• Maintain relationships with clients to achieve staffing goals and provide feedback on process.

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX; Shreveport, LA; Abilene, TX or Tulsa, OK. Position Summary

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life cycle recruiting for corporate/exempt roles such as engineers and project managers: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). With this role's greater level of experience, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist can manage technical and non-technical exempt professional positions and management positions and other related responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Partners with hiring manager and HR Business Partner to determine staffing needs. Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
• Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
• Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates. Partners with Sourcing Specialist in order to bring a diverse slate of qualified candidates to the hiring manager. Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
• Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process. Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
• Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements). Responsible to ensure onboarding and new hire orientation processes occur.
• Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance. Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
• Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry. Takes the lead in the development of one or more annual affirmative action plans.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years corporate experience in recruitment and placement of applicants in professional and management level exempt positions including 3 years of knowledge and experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources.
• Knowledge of human resources recruiting policies and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license required
