Job summary

NORC at the University of Chicago is seeking a versatile Senior Recruiter to join our Chicago-based Talent Acquisition team. This role will manage full-cycle recruitment across professional, corporate, skilled, and high-volume roles, developing strategies to meet ongoing hiring needs while delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years recruiting for professional and high-volume roles.
• 5+ years proactive sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean searches.
• 5+ years experience with an applicant-tracking system (PageUp a plus).
• Strong knowledge of OFCCP compliance for federal contracting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for professional, specialized, and high-volume roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and sourcing plans.
• Develop recruitment marketing and employer-branding strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and OFCCP requirements.
• Contribute to talent acquisition initiatives and process improvements.
