Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Marketing or a related field plus three (3) years of staffing/recruiting/selection experience.
• Demonstrated search skills and expertise in screening active candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Proficient sourcing skills with the ability to use numerous creative techniques and channels including social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
• Strong internet, active, and passive candidate search skills.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and equal opportunity regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external resources.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and applicants.
• Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task.
• Self-starter with proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with applicant tracking systems preferred.
• Excellent work ethic and sense of urgency, with respect for privacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver candidate pools through aggressive sourcing channels and pipeline development.
• Manage the internship program, including sourcing, pre-screening, orientation, and placement discussions.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and build recruiting plans.
• Maintain robust recruiting plans and stay updated on pay, benefits, and hiring practices.
• Manage special projects like cost for new database searches and mentor guidelines.
• Place graduates from the Leadership Development Program into entry-level leadership roles.
• Develop processes for database searches, career fairs, and social media recruitment; monitor success and compliance.
• Provide guidance to Talent Acquisition Specialists and review resumes for fit.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews and facilitate assessment/selection processes.
• Engage community services, colleges, associations to build diverse candidate sources; present opportunities and benefits.
