Job summary

Hays is seeking a Senior Recruiter to deliver top talent for Data Center Construction projects in Arlington, VA. You will partner with Account Managers and Consultants to identify, engage, assess and place professionals across contract and permanent roles.

You will build pipelines, manage the full lifecycle, and develop market knowledge while ensuring an excellent candidate experience and ongoing professional development within a global talent solutions organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, sourcing, staffing, or candidate delivery experience.
• Experience sourcing candidates through outbound recruitment techniques, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Strong relationship-building and candidate management skills.
• Self-motivated, self-reliant, and accountable for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, interview, evaluate, and place professionals across Data Center Construction projects.
• Build and maintain a network of active and passive candidates through sourcing and market mapping.
• Partner with consultants and hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver qualified talent.
• Manage the full candidate lifecycle: screening, interview prep, offers, onboarding support.
• Build talent pipelines across construction management, project management, engineering, supervision, commissioning, trades.
• Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
• Follow up with placed candidates to foster long-term relationships and network.
• Develop market knowledge of the Data Center Construction industry and talent landscape.
• Participate in professional development through Learning & Development and uphold Hays values.
