Job summary

Albany International Corp. seeks a Senior Talent Acquisition Programs & Systems Specialist to lead talent acquisition systems, process stewardship, and University Relations on a global scale.

The role will manage the transition from the current ATS to SmartRecruiters (go-live planned for January 2028) and subsequently steward processes, partnerships, and early-career programs across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in talent acquisition operations or HR work.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end recruiting lifecycle and related workflows.
• Ownership in ATS implementation, migration, or major enhancements.
• Ability to elicit requirements and translate needs for HRIS partners.
• Experience creating user acceptance tests and documenting defects.
• Strong data orientation, reporting, and data quality focus.
• Experience managing external partnerships for talent programs.
• Excellent written communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition systems and process leadership across global teams.
• Own ATS configuration, stages, approvals, and candidate communications.
• Coordinate change readiness, release communications, and user enablement.
• Partner with HRIS and HR Operations on integrations and reporting.
• Develop Albany's University Relations strategy and early-career programs.
• Build relationships with universities, technical schools, and partners.
• Drive enterprise frameworks for internships, co-ops, and apprenticeships.
