Job summary

Shield AI seeks a Senior Lead, TA & PX Systems Administration to own and optimize the entire TA tech stack, including Ashby ATS/CRM and third-party HR tools. The role starts hands-on and will evolve into a player-coach, leading a TA/PX systems team as Shield AI scales.

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on Ashby administration experience.
• 8+ years of experience administering and optimizing recruiting and HR technology.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, skills, and knowledge.
• Experience contributing to a TA or HR technology roadmap and vendor relationships.
• Hands-on builder who enjoys configuration work and mentoring others.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end talent acquisition processes and how technology enables each stage.
• Fluency in the TA technology landscape (ATS, CRM, sourcing, scheduling, assessments, analytics).
• Experience with PX SaaS tools such as performance, compensation, equity, engagement, or HRIS-adjacent platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the roadmap for TA and HR technology with People Technology leadership.
• Support the full TA technology ecosystem (ATS, CRM, sourcing tools, scheduling, assessments, background checks, interview intelligence).
• Administer and optimize Ashby as Shield AI's ATS and CRM, including approvals, requisitions, pipelines, and reporting objects.
• Support vendor management for Lattice, Pave, Compa, and Carta with configuration, integrations, and upgrade management.
• Define integration architecture across the TA and PX stack and manage change control.
• Translate business requirements into system design decisions and document workflows, permissions, and data model.
• Establish data governance for TA/PX systems including PII, RBAC, retention, naming conventions, and reporting boundaries.
• Lead release management and UAT for TA/PX system changes with test plans and audit-ready docs.
• Ensure TA/PX data pipelines are reliable for executive reporting with clean source data.
