Job summary

Exelon is seeking a senior Protection & Control Engineer in Malvern, PA to lead complex electrical projects, review budgets, and provide expert consulting. The role involves advanced engineering practices, regulatory liaison, and cross-functional collaboration within Exelon's expansive energy infrastructure.

You will engage in high-stakes problem solving and serve as a technical authority across plants and grids.

Qualifications

Master of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
8+ years of experience in specific areas of engineering and recognized industry expert.
Advanced knowledge of regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, practices, and advanced engineering principles.
License must be issued by the state in which you are practicing.

Responsibilities

Leads studies, plans, criteria, specifications, calculations and designs for power facilities.
Reviews budgeted and actual costs and provides consultation.
Acts as an expert witness in regulatory or legal proceedings.
Leads large, specialized technical projects and teams.
Interacts with industry groups to stay current on new technologies.
