Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer in Malvern, PA to lead and develop studies, designs, and evaluations for electric generation, transmission, distribution, gas and telecom facilities. You will consult with internal teams and customers, applying advanced engineering principles and cost-aware decisions.

The role requires a Master’s in Engineering or a PE license, 8+ years’ experience, and expertise in SCADA/EMS, telecom networks, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or PE license.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
• 8+ years of experience in specific areas of engineering and recognized industry expert.
• License must be issued by the state where practicing.

Responsibilities

• Performs consultation and training on highly complex technical areas requiring advanced engineering principles.
• Evaluates complex technical issues and recommends actions or programs for resolution.
• Leads large specialized technical projects and/or teams for studies and designs with cost considerations.
• Participates in industry societies and committees to stay current on technologies and issues.
• Participates in department planning, provides budget recommendations, monitors performance.
• Acts as an expert witness for regulatory and/or legal proceedings.
