Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a General Engineer to support electric Protection & Control engineering across BGE/Exelon infrastructure. You will develop engineering solutions, manage technical deliverables and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of utility operations, 4–7 years of experience, and the ability to lead projects, coordinate with stakeholders and oversee field inspections. On-site work in Baltimore, MD may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or PE license required.
• 4–7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Knowledge of regulations, guides, and codes for protection and control.
• Experience with protection design, relays, and SCADA.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project execution.
• Master's degree or MBA reduces OJT by 1 year (optional note).

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate-complexity engineering tasks under guidance.
• Lead small projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support for design, installation, and maintenance of systems.
• Participate in QA reviews and development of engineering standards.
