Job summary

Exelon Corporation seeks a General Engineer to support BGE/Exelon utility infrastructure in electric Protection & Control Engineering. You will lead evaluations, support safety initiatives, and manage project budgets, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

The role requires experience with protective relays, power systems studies, and QA reviews. Strong communication and leadership are essential for successful field inspections and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE licensure required.
• Strong analytical interpretation of complex electrical systems.
• Experience with engineering codes, standards and QA processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments of moderate complexity with guidance.
• Lead small engineering projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support for design, installation and maintenance.
• Participate in evaluation and improvement of technical systems.
