Job summary

Burns & McDonnell's Transmission & Distribution Global Practice in the Northeast seeks an engineering Project Manager to lead multiple high-impact projects from concept through completion in Wallingford, CT. You will drive project profitability, quality and safety while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule and budget, identifying risks, and pursuing new business opportunities to grow the regional T&D portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of engineering design and engineering project management experience.
• Must possess strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to travel. Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and budget projects and set key objectives.
• Lead projects to deliver safety, quality and profitability.
• Oversee from concept to completion: siting, permits, bid, procurement.
• Coordinate with regional teams to meet client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Support profitable growth and business planning.
• Monitor progress, costs, risks and project questions.
