Great Southwestern Construction, Inc. is seeking a Sr T&D Estimator to drive competitive cost estimates for transmission, distribution and substation projects. You will mentor estimators, respond to RFPs, and partner with clients to win work.

Responsibilities include field take-offs, bid submittals, and developing strategies to ensure profitability and growth across projects nationwide. This role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Plan reading and interpreting civil/architectural/structural/mechanical plans and specs.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Experience creating work plans for transmission, substation and distribution scopes.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods for transmission/substation/distribution works.
• Risk identification and mitigation planning for estimates.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates.
• Outline and prepare responses to requests for proposals.
• Lead estimate review with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop strategies for being awarded projects.
• Maintain and develop estimating database.
• Coordinate with Project Management and field personnel.
• Prepare and submit change orders.
• Assist estimating staff with cost estimates and bid packages.
