Job summary

The Boeing Company in Long Beach, CA seeks a Systems Test & Evaluation Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join the BT&E team and contribute to ASIT program deliverables for multiple airplane programs. Responsibilities include designing test methods, developing procedures, operating SIL/HILS, and analyzing data to meet customer requirements while working with IPT Leads and BT&E leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, agile experience, and a proactive approach to problem

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field (non-US equivalent acceptable)
• 5+ years of configuration management experience for systems, software, and hardware
• 3+ years of using DOORS for requirements management
• 3+ years in agile (SCRUM) leadership roles (Product Owner or Scrum Master)

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and verification of test methods
• Develops detailed test procedures and instrumentation definitions to perform tests
• Designs test hardware, software and systems to meet test requirements
• Uses analytical tools to verify the design
• Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements
• Prepares and publishes test reports to document results
• Presents test results internally and to customers
• Archives data and reports and trains others
• Works under general direction
