Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 0 years of relevant exempt experience required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience with ship systems on RCOH or new construction carriers, including Machinery Control and Monitoring (MCMS), Alarms (CKT FD and FL), and lighting systems.
• Ability to collect data, review, coordinate, and conduct test procedures across various ship systems.
• Ability to provide hands‑on deck plate support, technical guidance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to report overall status to supervisor.
• No security clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate integrated testing activities.
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness of the test program.
• Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system-level evaluations.
• Collect data, review, coordinate, and conduct test procedures across various ship systems.
• Provide hands‑on deck plate support, technical guidance, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with waterfront construction management, design engineering, test engineering, SUPSHIP, NAVSEA, and Ship's Force.
• Review test issuance/completion status and update the Test Plan of the Day.
• Provide system status and turnover.
• Identify and recommend resolutions for system and programmatic issues.
• Support E25 contract performance metrics, including scheduling, budgeting, and scoping.
