Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal/Principal Systems Test Engineer to support lab operations in Roy, Utah. You will help design, plan, and execute tests for hardware/software integration, ensuring readiness and proper configuration of test stations.

The role requires strong collaboration, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Relocation assistance may be available and a Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; Master’s with 3 years; PhD with 1 year; plus 4 years in lieu of degree.
• 8 years with a Bachelor’s in STEM; Master’s with 6 years; PhD with 4 years; plus 4 years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed plans and schedules for integration checkout procedures.
• Collaborate on test development with other engineering disciplines and management.
• Develop and execute software installation, integration, and acceptance test procedures.
• Coordinate test equipment and personnel requirements for safe, efficient tests.
• Provide real-time safety, efficiency, and effectiveness decisions during tests.
• Maintain configuration management of the lab.
• Serve as liaison to internal and external organizations for test data requirements.
• Communicate clearly within a team and independently solve complex problems.
