Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Software, or related STEM with 5 years of experience; or 3 years with MS; or 1 year with STEM PhD.
• US Citizen with current Top Secret clearance.
• Must be able to be screened for Enhanced Security Clearances.
• 3+ years experience with full lifecycle work and MBSE tools (SysML).
• 3+ years experience in writing, managing, tracing complex requirements and creating ICDs.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Responsible Engineer for hardware/software items procured from vendors.
• Interpret drawings, datasheets, and test reports for program requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical challenges while safeguarding cost/schedule/performance.
• Review and approve deliverables from subcontract data requirements list.
• Assist in managing subcontractor statements of work and performance.
• Maintain configuration control and ensure items meet engineering standards (CMMI, MILSTD...).
• Provide regular status reports and risk updates to program leadership.
• Participate in cross-functional design, trade, and verification reviews.
• Document decisions, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
