Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to own the full lifecycle of electromechanical GSE for system-level tests at our Hercules facility in Houston. You will lead design, procurement, fabrication, checkout, and integration with test setups.

The role requires experience in hardware test planning and coordination, and familiarity with NASA spaceflight programs is desirable. Occasional travel is expected to support test events and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (ABET-accredited preferred).
• Experience with designing pressure, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Experience in hardware test planning, coordination, and execution.
• Experience with NASA human spaceflight programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of electromechanical GSE to support system-level tests.
• Track GSE through development milestones: Kickoff, PDR, CDR, TRR.
• Develop documentation such as DOMM, Hazard Analysis, BOM, schematics.
• Coordinate with external test facilities and demonstrate testing competency.
• Prepare presentations for peers, management, and customers; travel <20%.
