Axiom Space is seeking a Systems Test Engineer for the EVA Test & Verification IPT at our Hercules facility in Georgia. You will own the full lifecycle of electromechanical GSE to support system-level tests and report to the EVA Test & Verification IPT Lead.
The role is onsite at our Hercules facility. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering, hands-on hardware test planning, and experience with spaceflight programs.

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Systems Test Engineer who will primarily be responsible for owning the full lifecycle of electromechanical GSE to support system level tests. This position reports to EVA Test & Verification IPT Lead. This role is onsite and will be based at our Hercules facility.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering (aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related discipline). Experience with designing pressure systems, electrical systems, and/or mechanical systems. Experience in hardware test planning, coordination, and execution. Experience in test GSE development planning, coordination, and build. Experience with NASA human spaceflight programs desired, with related experience in the testing of spacecraft, spacesuits, space vehicles. A strong attention to detail while appreciating the bigger picture of complex and ambitious projects. Ability to identify gaps and develop solutions quickly and efficiently. Experience in Start-up organizations a plus. Level III Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (ABET-accredited preferred), required across all levels 4-9 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Level IV Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, preferred for Levels II–V and strongly preferred for Levels VI–VII 7-12 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
