Trident Seafoods, the leading seafood company based in Seattle, seeks a Senior Systems Specialist to install, engineer and maintain operating systems and related software. The role includes remote support and on-site work at production locations, with occasional travel to remote Alaska sites.

The ideal candidate has six years of IT systems experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in IT systems or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or equivalent.
• Microsoft or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, engineer and maintain operating systems and software.
• Provide remote and on-site support at production locations.
• Maintain system specs, documentation and security.
• Monitor datacenter health and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and mentor junior staff.
