Job summary

Trident Seafoods seeks a Senior Systems Specialist to install, engineer, and maintain operating systems and related software across production locations, with remote support and some Alaska travel. You will lead technical initiatives, improve security, and ensure high-availability systems in a complex environment.

The role requires six+ years in IT, a CS/IT/IS degree, and strong Azure/cloud skills. On-site Seattle-area position with optional remote Fridays, offering robust benefits and career

Qualifications

• Minimum six years experience in IT systems or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft certifications preferred; experience in Copilot Admin, Salesforce Admin, DocuSign IAM, Infor EAM, Smartsheet, Brandfolder or TraceGains.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine analysis to evaluate hardware and software based on business processes and end user criteria.
• Interacts with managers and staff to resolve hardware/software issues, providing automation services as needed.
• Develops and maintains system specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitors datacenter health and responds to issues; recommends improvements to security and capacity.
• Maintains factory support software including production inventory, labeling, and energy management; tunes parameters for performance and security.
• Identifies project requirements by interviewing stakeholders and documenting results.
• Maintains systems by researching and resolving problems, maintaining integrity, and administering security.
• Reviews changes and upcoming developments in software applications.
• Creates documentation for supported systems and enhancements.
• Designs, tests, and modifies applications, modules, and enhancements.
• Performs advanced analysis and troubleshooting for various applications.
