Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation seeks an EH&S Safety Specialist III to support environmental, health, and safety leadership across Alaska operations from a Seattle base. You will design and coordinate safety programs, guide policy compliance, and drive regulatory performance while coordinating trainings and audits with multiple sites.

The role requires travel, strong communication, and practical risk-management skills to protect workers and communities in a dynamic seafood processing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of EH&S experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred OSHA 500 and CSP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supports EH&S programs and processes by providing advice to Company Senior Management.
• Reviews, creates, and implements internal policies, standards and practices to ensure they are current, appropriate, and compliant.
• Conducts hazard and risk assessments and develops recommendations to drive regulatory compliance and EH&S performance excellence.
• Provides regular written reports and EH&S related results to EH&S leadership.
• Assists in investigation of serious incidents and ensures proper records are completed and submitted.
• Develops, supervises, and coordinates training programs to increase safe practices.
• Addresses OSHA, DOT, USDA, EPA regulatory requirements and ensures site compliance.
• Conducts site visits/audits.
