Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking an EH&S Safety Specialist III for Alaska operations with a Seattle base. The role supports safety leadership across locations, coordinating policies, risk assessments, training, and incident investigations to ensure regulatory compliance and excellent safety performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of EH&S experience, a related degree, and travel readiness. The position is on-site with occasional remote work and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EH&S experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support EH&S programs and provide guidance to Company Senior Management.
• Review, create, and implement internal policies to ensure they are current and compliant.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments and develop recommendations to drive regulatory compliance and EH&S excellence.
• Provide regular EH&S reports and updates to leadership.
• Assist in incident investigations and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
• Develop and coordinate training programs to increase proficiency in safe practices.
• Address OSHA, DOT, USDA, EPA reporting requirements and ensure site compliance.
• Conduct site visits and audits.
